Career Summary
Mike Sherman was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1997 to 2013, finishing his career as the offensive coordinator of the Miami Dolphins. Over his thirteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 119-89-0. He was the head coach of the Green Bay Packers from 2000 until the 2005 season, during which time the Packers went 57-39-0. During his career he was a head coach for six seasons. He was fired from the Packers on Monday, January 2, 2006.

Before he was a head coach, Sherman served as an assistant coach for Mike Holmgren, Gary Kubiak, and Joe Philbin. Three of these years were spent on Holmgren's coaching staff. One assistant coach from his coaching staffs, Joe Philbin, was eventually hired as a head coach. After coaching on Mike Sherman's coaching staff, he was the head coach of the Miami Dolphins for four seasons where he combined for a regular season record of 24-28-0 and 0-0 in the playoffs.
