Career Summary

Seth Ryan is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the assistant tight ends coach for the Detroit Lions since 2025. Prior to this role, he started with the Lions as the team's assistant wide receivers coach in 2021.

Personal Information

Ryan is the third generation of Ryan's to coach in the NFL. His grandfather, Buddy Ryan, was an NFL head coach credited with inventing the 46 Defense.
