The Baltimore Ravens' fifth season was in 2000, and it was the second season Brian Billick served as the head coach of the team. The Ravens played their home games at PSINet Stadium (1999–2002). They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season and 4-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the New York Giants 34-7, the team's first championship win. At the end of the season Ray Lewis earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and AP Defensive Player of the Year.
