The Cincinnati Bengals' twenty-fifth season was in 1992, playing their home games at Riverfront Stadium. During the offseason they promoted David Shula to lead the team. Shula previously was the wide receivers coach of the Cincinnati Bengals and had ten years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 5-11-0, 3-5-0 at home and 2-6-0 on the road. At the end of the season, Carl Pickens was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
