The Seattle Seahawks' seventeenth season was in 1992, playing their home games at Kingdome. During the offseason they promoted Tom Flores to lead the team. During his time in the NFL he was head coach for nine years. They finished the season 2-14-0, 1-7-0 at home and 1-7-0 on the road. At the end of the season, Cortez Kennedy was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
