Biography

Career Summary

Bob Sutton is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the senior defensive assistant coach for the Jacksonville Jaguars since 2021. Prior to this season, he coached for the New York Jets, Kansas City Chiefs, and Atlanta Falcons for twenty-one seasons. His most recent position was with the Falcons as their defensive analyst.

Career Awards

As the defensive coordinator of the Kansas City Chiefs he coached two players to award-winning seasons: Marcus Peters, AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2015; Eric Berry, Comeback Player of the Year in 2015.
