Biography

Jack Christiansen was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1959 until 1982, finishing his career with the Seattle Seahawks as their defensive backs (secondary) coach. Over his fifteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 87-118-4. During his career he was the head coach of the San Francisco 49ers from 1963 until the 1967 season. The 49ers went 26-41-3 during their five seasons with Christiansen as head coach.
