Biography

Bill Johnson was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1955 until 1990, finishing his career with the Cincinnati Bengals as their tight ends coach. Over his thirty-six years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 245-257-8. During his career he was the head coach of the Cincinnati Bengals from 1976 until the 1978 season. The Bengals went 22-22-0 during their three seasons with Johnson as head coach.
