The New Orleans Saints' twenty-fifth season was in 1991, and it was the sixth season Jim E. Mora (Sr.) served as the head coach of the team. The Saints played their home games at Louisiana Superdome. They finished the year 11-5-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, but they lost their first playoff game to the Atlanta Falcons 27-20. At the end of the season, Pat Swilling was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year award.
