The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' sixteenth season was in 1991, playing their home games at Tampa Stadium. During the offseason they promoted Richard Williamson to lead the team. Williamson previously was the interim head coach/assistant head coach/wide receivers coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and had eight years of coaching experience in the NFL.
