The Seattle Seahawks' ninth season was in 1984, and it was the second season Chuck Knox served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Miami Dolphins 31-10. At the end of the season Chuck Knox earned Coach of the Year and Kenny Easley earned AP Defensive Player of the Year.
