2012 was the fifty-second season for the Minnesota Vikings and the second season for Leslie Frazier as the head coach of the Vikings. They finished the season 10-6-0 in the regular season. However, they lost their first playoff game to the Green Bay Packers 24-10. At the conclusion of the season one different people were recognized for their successful seasons: Adrian Peterson, AP Offensive Player of the Year and Most Valuable Player.
