The Minnesota Vikings' sixteenth season was in 1976, and it was the tenth season Bud Grant served as the head coach of the team. The Vikings played their home games at Metropolitan Stadium. They finished the year 11-2-1 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC Central, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Oakland Raiders 32-14. At the end of the season, Sammy White was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
