The Minnesota Vikings' sixteenth season was in 1976, and it was the tenth season Bud Grant served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 11-2-1 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Oakland Raiders 32-14. At the end of the season, Sammy White was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
