The Los Angeles Raiders' twenty-third season was in 1982, and it was the fourth season Tom Flores served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 8-1-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New York Jets 17-14. At the end of the season Marcus Allen earned AP Offensive Rookie of the Year and Lyle Alzado earned Comeback Player of the Year.
