The Los Angeles Raiders' twenty-third season was in 1982, and it was the fourth season Tom Flores served as the head coach of the team. The Raiders played their home games at Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum. They finished the year 8-1-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the New York Jets 17-14. At the end of the season Marcus Allen earned AP Offensive Rookie of the Year and Lyle Alzado earned Comeback Player of the Year.
