The Los Angeles Rams' twenty-eighth season was in 1963, playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. During the offseason they promoted Harland Svare to lead the team. Svare previously was the interim head coach/defensive line coach of the Los Angeles Rams and had three years of coaching experience in the NFL.
