The Chicago Bears' forty-fourth season was in 1963, and it was the thirty-sixth season George Halas served as the head coach of the team. The Bears played their home games at Wrigley Field. They finished the year 11-1-2 in the regular season and 1-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the New York Giants 14-10, the team's eighth championship win. At the end of the season, George Halas was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
