1963 was the forty-fourth season for the Chicago Bears and the thirty-third season for George Halas as the head coach of the Bears. They finished the season 11-1-2 in the regular season and 1-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the New York Giants 14-10 for the team's seventh championship. At the conclusion of the season George Halas was awarded with the Coach of the Year.
