The Pittsburgh Steelers' seventy-fourth season was in 2007. During the offseason they hired Mike Tomlin to lead the team. Tomlin previously was the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings and had seven years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-29.
