2007 was the seventy-fourth season for the Pittsburgh Steelers. During the offseason they hired Mike Tomlin to lead the team. Tomlin previously was the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings and has a total of seven years of coaching in the NFL. They finished the season 10-6-0 in the regular season. However, they lost their first playoff game to the Jacksonville Jaguars 31-29.
