The Pittsburgh Steelers' fifty-first season was in 1984, and it was the sixteenth season Chuck Noll served as the head coach of the team. The Steelers played their home games at Three Rivers Stadium. They finished the year 9-7-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the Central, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Miami Dolphins 45-28. At the end of the season John Stallworth earned Comeback Player of the Year and Louis Lipps earned AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.
