Biography

Nick Skorich was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1954 until 1974, finishing his career with the Cleveland Browns as their head coach. Over his fourteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 79-96-7. During his career he was a head coach for seven seasons. His first head coaching opportunity came with the Philadelphia Eagles. He led the team for three seasons, compiling a record of 15-24-3. His next head coaching stint came with the Cleveland Browns. He coached the Browns from 1971 to 1974, leading the team to a 30-24-2 record during his four seasons as head coach.
