Biography

Nick Skorich was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1954 until 1974, finishing his career with the Cleveland Browns as their head coach. Over his fourteen years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 79-96-7. During his career he was a head coach for seven seasons, first with the Philadelphia Eagles. He led the Eagles for four seasons, compiling a record of 25-26-3. In 1960, the Eagles won the championship against the Green Bay Packers 17-13. His next head coaching stint came with the Cleveland Browns. He coached the Browns from 1971 to 1973, leading the team to a 26-14-2 record during his three seasons as head coach.
