The Green Bay Packers' thirty-eighth season was in 1958, playing their home games at New City Stadium. During the offseason they promoted Ray McLean to lead the team. McLean previously was the backs coach of the Green Bay Packers and had eight years of coaching experience in the AAFC and NFL. They finished the season 1-10-1, 1-4-1 at home and 0-6-0 on the road.
