Career Summary
Ed Khayat was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1967 to 1993, finishing his career as the defensive line coach of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Over his twenty-five years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 143-221-6. He was also the head coach of the Philadelphia Eagles for the 1972 season. The Eagles went 2-11-1 in this lone season as a head coach. During his career he was a head coach for one season.
