Career Summary

June Jones was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1987 to 1998, finishing his career as the interim head coach/quarterbacks coach of the San Diego Chargers. Over his eleven years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative win/loss record of 78-97-0. He was the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons from 1994 until the 1996 season, during which time the Falcons went 19-29-0. During his career he was a head coach for three seasons. He was fired from the Falcons on Monday, December 23, 1996.
