Biography

John Shoop was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1995 to 2006, finishing his career as the tight ends coach of the Oakland Raiders. Over his twelve years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 76-116-0.

During the 2001 season as the offensive coordinator of the Chicago Bears he coached Anthony Thomas to the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year.
