The Tampa Bay Buccaneers' twenty-first season was in 1996, playing their home games at Houlihan's Stadium. During the offseason they hired Tony Dungy to lead the team. Dungy previously was the defensive coordinator of the Minnesota Vikings and had fifteen years of coaching experience in the NFL.
