2013 was the thirty-eighth season for the Seattle Seahawks and the third season for Pete Carroll as the head coach of the Seahawks. They finished the season 13-3-0 in the regular season and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Denver Broncos 43-8 for the team's first championship. At the conclusion of the season Malcolm Smith was awarded with the Super Bowl Most Valuable Player.
