The Kansas City Chiefs' thirty-third season was in 1992, and it was the fourth season Marty Schottenheimer served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the San Diego Chargers 17-0. At the end of the season, Dale Carter was awarded with the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year award.
