The Minnesota Vikings' tenth season was in 1970, and it was the fourth season Bud Grant served as the head coach of the team. The Vikings played their home games at Metropolitan Stadium. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC Central, but they lost their first playoff game to the San Francisco 49ers 17-14.
