The Dallas Cowboys' nineteenth season was in 1978, and it was the nineteenth season Tom Landry served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-31. At the end of the season, Roger Staubach was awarded with the Man of the Year award.
