The Denver Broncos' thirty-ninth season was in 1998, and it was the fourth season Mike Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 14-2-0 in the regular season and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Atlanta Falcons 34-19, the team's second championship win. At the end of the season John Elway earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and Terrell Davis earned AP Offensive Player of the Year.
