The Denver Broncos' thirty-ninth season was in 1998, and it was the fourth season Mike Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. The Broncos played their home games at Mile High Stadium. They finished the year 14-2-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Atlanta Falcons 34-19, the team's second championship win. At the end of the season John Elway earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and Terrell Davis earned AP Offensive Player of the Year.
