The Denver Broncos' forty-fifth season was in 2004, and it was the tenth season Mike Shanahan served as the head coach of the team. The Broncos played their home games at INVESCO Field at Mile High. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Indianapolis Colts 49-24.
