The Buffalo Bills' first season was in 1960, playing their home games at War Memorial Stadium. During the offseason they hired Buster Ramsey to lead the team. Ramsey previously was the defensive coordinator of the Detroit Lions and had nine years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the season 5-8-1, 3-4-0 at home and 2-4-1 on the road.
