The Buffalo Bills' twenty-second season was in 1981, and it was the fourth season Chuck Knox served as the head coach of the team. The Bills played their home games at Rich Stadium. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Cincinnati Bengals 28-21.
