The New England Patriots' fifty-fifth season was in 2014, and it was the fifteenth season Bill Belichick served as the head coach of the team. The Patriots played their home games at Gillette Stadium. They finished the year 12-4-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, and 3-0 in the playoffs eventually winning the NFL championship against the Seattle Seahawks 28-24, the team's fourth championship win. At the end of the season Tom Brady earned Super Bowl Most Valuable Player and Rob Gronkowski earned Comeback Player of the Year.
