The Los Angeles Rams' thirty-first season was in 1966, playing their home games at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. During the offseason they hired George Allen to lead the team. Allen previously was the defensive coordinator/head of player personnel of the Chicago Bears and had nine years of coaching experience in the NFL.
