The Philadelphia Eagles' sixty-third season was in 1995, playing their home games at Veterans Stadium. During the offseason they hired Ray Rhodes to lead the team. Rhodes previously was the defensive coordinator of the San Francisco 49ers and had fourteen years of coaching experience in the NFL. They finished the year 10-6-0 in the regular season and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Dallas Cowboys 30-11. At the end of the season, Ray Rhodes was awarded with the Coach of the Year award.
