The Seattle Seahawks' twentieth season was in 1995, playing their home games at Kingdome. During the offseason they hired Dennis Erickson to lead the team. Erickson had never previously coached in the NFL in any capacity before the 1995 season. They finished the season 8-8-0, 5-3-0 at home and 3-5-0 on the road.
