The Indianapolis Colts' forty-seventh season was in 1999, and it was the second season Jim E. Mora (Sr.) served as the head coach of the team. The Colts played their home games at RCA Dome. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, but they lost their first playoff game to the Tennessee Titans 19-16. At the end of the season, Edgerrin James was awarded with the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year award.
