2015 was the fourteenth season for the Houston Texans and the first season for Bill O'Brien as the head coach of the Texans. They finished the season 9-7-0 in the regular season. However, they lost their first playoff game to the Kansas City Chiefs 30-0. At the conclusion of the season J.J. Watt was awarded with the AP Defensive Player of the Year.
