Career Summary
Karl Dunbar is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive line coach for the New York Jets since 2026. Prior to this season, he coached for the Seattle Seahawks, Washington Redskins, Chicago Bears, Minnesota Vikings, New York Jets, Buffalo Bills, and Pittsburgh Steelers for twenty-one seasons. His most recent position was with the Steelers as their defensive line coach. Dunbar will be the defensive line coach of the New York Jets for the 2026 season.
