Biography

Ed Biles was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1974 until 1983, finishing his career with the Houston Oilers as their head coach. Over his ten years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 72-73-0. During his career he was the head coach of the Houston Oilers from 1981 until the 1983 season. The Oilers went 10-31-0 during their three seasons with Biles as head coach. During the 1975 season as the defensive coordinator of the Houston Oilers he coached Robert Brazile to the AP Defensive Rookie of the Year.
