The Seattle Seahawks' thirtieth season was in 2005, and it was the seventh season Mike Holmgren served as the head coach of the team. The Seahawks played their home games at Qwest Field. They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10. At the end of the season, Shaun Alexander was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
