They finished the year 13-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the NFC West, and 2-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 21-10. At the end of the season, Shaun Alexander was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
