The Oakland Raiders' fifteenth season was in 1974, and it was the sixth season John Madden served as the head coach of the team. The Raiders played their home games at Oakland–Alameda County Coliseum. They finished the year 12-2-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 24-13. At the end of the season Ken Stabler earned AP Offensive Player of the Year and George Blanda earned Man of the Year.
