The New York Jets' tenth season was in 1969, and it was the seventh season Weeb Ewbank served as the head coach of the team. They finished the year 10-4-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Kansas City Chiefs 13-6. At the end of the season, Joe Namath was awarded with the AP AFL Player of the Year award.
