The New York Jets' tenth season was in 1969, and it was the seventh season Weeb Ewbank served as the head coach of the team. The Jets played their home games at Shea Stadium. They finished the year 10-4-0 in the regular season but they lost their first playoff game to the Kansas City Chiefs 13-6. At the end of the season, Joe Namath was awarded with the AP AFL Player of the Year award.
