The San Diego Chargers' forty-ninth season was in 2008, and it was the second season Norv Turner served as the head coach of the team. The Chargers played their home games at Qualcomm Stadium. They finished the year 8-8-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC West, and 1-1 in the playoffs, eventually losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers 35-24.
