The Baltimore Colts' twenty-fourth season was in 1976, and it was the second season Ted Marchibroda served as the head coach of the team. The Colts played their home games at Memorial Stadium. They finished the year 11-3-0 in the regular season, en route to winning the AFC East, but they lost their first playoff game to the Pittsburgh Steelers 40-14. At the end of the season, Bert Jones was awarded with the AP Offensive Player of the Year award.
