Playing Career
Salisbury University Seagulls
Pete Alosi played his college football at Salisbury University, a Division III university in Maryland. Alosi played linebacker during his tenure from 2000-2002, and in his final season the Seagulls went 9-1 during the regular season, but lost their first playoff game to finish the season 9-2.
Coaching Career
Internships and Private Coaching Sector
Hofstra University Pride
After the conclusion of his playing career, Alosi worked as an intern for the Hofstra Pride during the 2003 summer.
Velocity Sports Performance
From 2004-2005, Alosi worked as a sports performance coach for Velocity Sports Performance.
Cleveland Browns
During the 2006 NFL offseason, Alosi received his first NFL coaching experience as an intern for the Cleveland Browns under head coach Romeo Crennel.
New York Giants
The next offseason, Alosi worked as an intern for the New York Giants under head coach Tom Coughlin. That season, the Giants would go on to beat the New England Patriots in the Super Bowl.
College Coaching
Arizona State University Sun Devils
After his Giants internship, Alosi was hired to his first full time collegiate position as a sports performance coach for Arizona State University for 2007 under head coach Dennis Erickson.
NFL Coaching
Arizona Cardinals
In 2008, Alosi moved to the NFL as a staff assistant under Arizona Cardinal's strength and conditioning coordinator, John Lott. During the 2008 season, the Cardinals lost the Super Bowl to the Pittsburgh Steelers. After two seasons under Lott, Alosi was promoted to Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach.
