Biography

Jim Schwartz is a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) and has been the defensive coordinator for the Philadelphia Eagles since 2016. During this time period, the Eagles compiled a 30-20-0 record. He was the head coach of the Detroit Lions from 2009 until the 2013 season, during which time the Lions went 29-51-0. During his career he was a head coach for five seasons.

As the head coach of the Detroit Lions he coached two players to award-winning seasons: Ndamukong Suh, AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 2010; Matthew Stafford, Comeback Player of the Year in 2011.
