Biography

Walt Corey was a football coach in the National Football League (NFL) from 1971 until 1999, finishing his career with the New Orleans Saints as their defensive line coach. Over his twenty-seven years of coaching his teams compiled a cumulative record of 208-199-3.

As the defensive coordinator of the Buffalo Bills he coached two players to award-winning seasons: Shane Conlan, AP Defensive Rookie of the Year in 1987; Bruce Smith, AP Defensive Player of the Year in 1990.
