During his career, he won the Most Valuable Player in 1959, playing for the Baltimore Colts; the Most Valuable Player in 1964, playing for the Baltimore Colts; the Most Valuable Player in 1967, playing for the Baltimore Colts; and the Man of the Year in 1970, playing for the Baltimore Colts.
