The Minnesota Vikings' seventh season was in 1967, playing their home games at Metropolitan Stadium. During the offseason they hired Bud Grant to lead the team. Grant had never previously coached in the NFL in any capacity before the 1967 season. They finished the season 3-8-3, 1-4-2 at home and 2-4-1 on the road.
